School Cleaner – Full‑time, Long‑term (Cambridge)

About the role

We are partnering with a welcoming secondary school in a picturesque village just outside Cambridge to hire a full‑time School Cleaner starting September 2026. This long‑term role offers a stable routine within a supportive educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, corridors and communal areas each day.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the school premises.
• Clean and sanitise toilets and washroom facilities.
• Empty bins, replenish supplies and ensure cleaning equipment is stored safely.
• Support the wider site team to keep the learning environment safe and tidy.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Willingness to follow a split‑shift pattern (6:00 am‑9:00 am and 3:00 pm‑8:00 pm, Monday‑Friday).
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
