School Cleaner – Full‑Time, Long‑Term

About the role

We are seeking a reliable School Cleaner to join a welcoming secondary school located in a picturesque village just outside Cambridge. This full‑time, long‑term position starts in September 2026 and offers a supportive environment where your work directly contributes to a safe and pleasant learning atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas each day.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene by cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities.
• Empty bins, replenish supplies, and ensure cleaning equipment is stored correctly.
• Support the wider site team in keeping the school environment safe and tidy.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Willingness to follow a split‑shift pattern (6:00 am‑9:00 am and 3:00 pm‑8:00 pm, Monday‑Friday).
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
