School Cleaner – Full‑time position in Cambridge

About the role

We are looking for a reliable School Cleaner to join a friendly school community located in a picturesque village just outside Cambridge. This full‑time position involves maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas.
• Maintain washroom facilities to a high standard.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop and dust throughout the school.
• Use and store cleaning materials safely.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school or commercial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, conscientious and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
