About the role
The School Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across all areas of the school. This role supports the wellbeing of students and staff by ensuring classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common spaces are consistently tidy and well‑maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties to maintain the school's cleanliness.
- Ensure hygiene standards are met throughout the campus.
- Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Monitor and report on cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with school staff to address cleaning needs.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in cleaning or janitorial roles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate cleaning equipment.
Required skills
- Strong cleaning and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Knowledge of cleaning best practices and equipment.
