About the role
We are looking for a reliable part‑time School Cleaner to join our team in Sunderland. The role involves maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the school premises during the afternoon shift.
Key responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, cloakrooms, offices and hallways to ensure a tidy environment.
- Maintain hygiene standards in all school areas, including waste removal and surface disinfection.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning.
Required profile
- Hold a current enhanced DBS check (on the update service or dated within the last 12 months).
- Attention to detail with a strong commitment to hygiene.
- Friendly, people‑oriented attitude.
- Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential.
Required skills
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £12.71.
- Afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
