School Cleaner – Part‑time (12.5 hrs/week)

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated School Cleaner to join our secondary school in Radcliffe. This part‑time position (12.5 hours per week) starts on 1 September and supports a clean, safe environment for pupils and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and tidy classrooms, hallways, offices, toilets and other school areas.
- Operate vacuum cleaners, polishers, buffers and other cleaning equipment safely.
- Empty waste bins, dispose of rubbish and manage cleaning supplies according to instructions.
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs to management.
- Secure the premises by closing windows and doors after cleaning.
Required profile
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
Required skills
- Operation of standard cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, polishers, buffers).
