School Finance Assistant (Temporary)

About the role
Our client, a long‑established school just outside Battle, is seeking a School Finance Assistant on a temporary basis for the next two to three months. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will manage the day‑to‑day invoicing cycle and support the school’s financial administration.
Key responsibilities
- Process invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Maintain journals and perform monthly bank account reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
- Support the finance team with routine financial administration.
Required profile
- Part‑ or fully AAT qualified.
- Previous experience in accounts payable/receivable, preferably in an educational setting.
- Reliable transport to reach the school location.
- Available to start immediately or on short notice.
