School Kitchen Assistant – Flexible Temporary Role

About the role
Join a supportive team delivering meals to primary and secondary schools in Liverpool. This temporary position starts in September and offers flexible hours during the school day.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food to students and staff.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including washing up and general cleaning.
- Serve meals in a friendly, polite manner.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with safeguarding duties as required.
Required profile
- Available Monday‑Friday, 9am‑2pm (flexible within these hours).
- Enhanced DBS clearance (assistance available for a fee).
- Completion of online training for Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and KCSIE (provided).
Required skills
- Food hygiene knowledge.
- Safeguarding awareness.
