School Kitchen Assistant – Flexible Term‑Time Hours

About the role
This temporary position supports primary and secondary schools in Northwich by providing safe, friendly food service during term time. The role is ideal for candidates who can work Monday‑Friday, 10 am‑2 pm, with some flexibility.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks to students and staff.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including washing up and general cleaning.
- Serve food in a courteous and polite manner.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist with safeguarding duties as required.
Required profile
- Enhanced DBS clearance (can be obtained through the agency).
- Completion of online training for Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and KCSIE (provided).
- Availability during school hours, Monday‑Friday, 10 am‑2 pm.
- Willingness to work flexibly within the stated hours.
