School Kitchen Assistant – September Starts

About the role
We are looking for a School Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team in Walton starting in September. The role supports primary and secondary schools by preparing and serving meals during school hours.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food to students and staff.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including washing up and general cleaning.
- Serve meals in a friendly and polite manner.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist with safeguarding duties as required.
Required profile
- Available Monday to Friday, 9 am–2 pm (flexible within school hours).
- Enhanced DBS clearance (assistance available for a fee).
- Completion of online training for Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and KCSIE.
Required skills
- Food hygiene knowledge.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Familiarity with KCSIE guidelines.
