School Kitchen Assistant – Temporary (Sept Start)

About the role
This temporary position supports primary and secondary schools in the Neston area by providing safe, friendly food service during school hours. The role starts in September and offers flexible, part‑time hours.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks to students and staff.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including washing up and routine cleaning.
- Serve food courteously and follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with safeguarding duties as required.
Required profile
- Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑2 pm (flexible within these hours).
- Enhanced DBS clearance (assistance available for a fee).
- Completion of online training for Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and KCSIE (provided by the recruiter).
