About the role

Join an award‑winning youth and education charity as a School Partnerships Officer, helping children furthest from opportunity thrive. You will act as the vital link between partner schools and a team of inspiring Volunteer Mentors, ensuring high‑quality delivery of the in‑school programme.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Volunteer Mentors throughout their year of service.
• Build strong partnerships with school leaders and staff.
• Ensure high‑quality delivery of the City Year school programme.
• Support volunteers' wellbeing, engagement and professional development.
• Monitor and evaluate programme impact using data and feedback.
• Act as the main relationship manager between City Year UK and partner schools.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the experience for schools, pupils and volunteers.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and relationship‑focused with a passion for young people and education.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work flexibly across school sites and the charity’s office.
• Commitment to supporting volunteers and driving social impact.

Required skills

• £30,469 per annum pro‑rated, part‑time (3 days per week).
