School Site Supervisor – Secondary School (Croydon)

About the role

We are seeking an organised and proactive School Site Supervisor to manage the day‑to‑day operations of a busy secondary school serving pupils aged 11‑18. The role ensures the premises are safe, secure and well‑maintained, supporting a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the premises team and coordinate daily site activities.
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring timely completion.
• Supervise external contractors and monitor health & safety compliance.
• Maintain statutory compliance and conduct regular safety checks.
• Control site security, including access and incident reporting.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules and upkeep of school facilities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in school site or facilities management.
• Proven ability to lead a site team and manage contractors.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and statutory requirements.
• Ability to commute easily to Croydon and start immediately.
