About the role
We are seeking a compassionate School Support Worker to join our specialist educational setting in Bletchley. You will work directly with children who have autism and complex communication needs, helping them access learning in a nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to learners with autism and additional needs.
- Assist non‑verbal students with communication, sensory activities, and learning tasks.
- Deliver personal and intimate care when required, following each learner’s care plan.
- Implement individual learning and care plans to help learners reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to maintain an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Required profile
- Legal right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
- Available full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
- Experience supporting autistic and/or non‑verbal learners, preferably in a school or care setting.
- Comfortable providing personal and intimate care.
- Calm, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
Required skills
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £13.68 – £15.00, dependent on experience.
- Full‑time schedule, Monday to Friday.
- Temporary ad‑hoc contract with potential temp‑to‑perm progression.
- Immediate start date.
