About the role

A welcoming secondary school in Ealing is seeking a caring and organised School Welfare Officer to join its pastoral team. The role involves providing first‑aid, managing the welfare room and supporting the health and wellbeing of students throughout the school day.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the school’s welfare room and maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide first‑aid and minor medical support to students as needed.
• Collaborate with the pastoral team to deliver holistic wellbeing and safeguarding provision.
• Ensure students receive appropriate care and follow health‑related policies.

Required profile

• Level 2 First Aid qualification or demonstrable first‑aid experience.
• Experience supporting minor medical needs, preferably in a school, healthcare or childcare setting.
• Calm, caring and professional approach with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider pastoral team.
