About the role
We are looking for a recent science graduate to join an OFSTED Outstanding secondary school in West London as a full‑time Teaching Assistant. This role provides a valuable stepping‑stone for those aiming to pursue a career in teaching, educational psychology, medicine or any education‑focused profession.
Key responsibilities
- Support students during science lessons covering biology, chemistry and physics.
- Deliver targeted interventions and small‑group support to enhance learning.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom activities and resource organisation.
- Help pupils build confidence, engagement and academic progress.
- Support learners with diverse needs and abilities across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
Required profile
- A degree in a science‑related subject.
- Genuine interest in education and working with young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Enthusiastic, professional and proactive attitude.
- Previous experience with young people is desirable but not essential.
