Science Graduate Teaching Assistant (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a recent science graduate to join an OFSTED Outstanding secondary school in West London as a full‑time Teaching Assistant. This role provides a valuable stepping‑stone for those aiming to pursue a career in teaching, educational psychology, medicine or any education‑focused profession.

Key responsibilities

• Support students during science lessons covering biology, chemistry and physics.
• Deliver targeted interventions and small‑group support to enhance learning.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom activities and resource organisation.
• Help pupils build confidence, engagement and academic progress.
• Support learners with diverse needs and abilities across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

Required profile

• A degree in a science‑related subject.
• Genuine interest in education and working with young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Enthusiastic, professional and proactive attitude.
• Previous experience with young people is desirable but not essential.
