About the role
We are seeking a Science Graduate to join our secondary school in Tower Hamlets, East London, as a teaching assistant within the Science department. This full‑time position starts in September 2026 and offers a valuable pre‑teacher‑training experience.
Key responsibilities
- Support students in Science lessons, both in small groups and one‑to‑one.
- Assist teachers with classroom preparation and exam revision activities.
- Provide additional help to pupils preparing for Science examinations.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the Science department.
Required profile
- A recent Science‑related degree (Physics, Chemistry, Biology or related).
- Interest in a teaching career and willingness to gain school experience.
