About the role
We are seeking a Science Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a ‘Good’ secondary school in Milton Keynes from September 2026. The role is permanent and full‑time, offering the chance to inspire and motivate the next generation of learners within a supportive and expanding science department.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging science lessons for secondary students.
- Inspire and motivate learners, fostering a love for scientific inquiry.
- Collaborate with a team of secondary teachers to develop department initiatives.
- Participate in 1:1 mentorship and bespoke ECT induction programmes.
- Engage in in‑house and external training to enhance teaching practice.
Required profile
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an overseas equivalent.
- Current, enhanced DBS check.
- Either a recently qualified science teacher or an experienced science teacher.
- Experience as a maths teacher in UK schools (as stated in the posting).
