Science Teacher (Full-Time, Flexible 4‑day week)

About the role

We are partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Aldershot that is looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher. The role is full‑time (5 days) but the school is open to a four‑day week for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Science to pupils in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 experience desirable).
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
• Collaborate with the department and wider school staff to support curriculum development.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire pupils.
• Reliability, flexibility and a commitment to high teaching standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the UK secondary Science curriculum (KS3/KS4).
• Lesson planning and assessment expertise.
