Science Teacher – Full-Time Long-Term Position

About the role

Reed Education is partnering with a Good‑rated secondary school in Cambridgeshire to hire a passionate Science Teacher for a full‑time, long‑term placement starting September 2026. The school offers a supportive environment, modern resources, and a collaborative Science department focused on high standards and student engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for scientific inquiry.
• Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress to achieve positive outcomes.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with Science colleagues and the wider school team.
• Contribute to extracurricular and wider school activities where appropriate.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and subject knowledge.
• Commitment to raising achievement and inspiring young people.
• Proactive communication and relationship‑building skills.
