Science Teacher – Full‑time or Part‑time (Woking)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a vibrant 11‑16 school in Woking. The position can be full‑time or part‑time (four days a week) starting September 2026, offering a competitive salary on the MPS/UPS fringe pay scale.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for students aged 11‑16.
• Utilise interactive LED screens and specialist facilities such as a planetarium and performance space.
• Contribute to the development of innovative teaching and learning strategies.
• Collaborate with a supportive department to achieve excellent student outcomes.
• Participate in training, leadership development programmes and school-wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified to teach Science at secondary level (Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent).
• Passionate about fostering curiosity and confidence in learners.
• Willing to work in a collaborative, innovative environment.
• Open to both early‑career teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners.

Required skills

• Effective classroom management.
• Ability to integrate technology such as LED screens into lessons.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
