Science Teacher (KS3‑KS5) – Full‑time

About the role

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a thriving school in Greenwich to recruit a dedicated Science Teacher. The role covers the full secondary range (KS3‑KS5) and is available immediately, welcoming both newly qualified teachers and experienced educators.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of the science department’s curriculum and resources.
• Participate in whole‑school initiatives, staff meetings and professional development activities.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent.
• PGCE, SCITT or Teach First route completion.
• Degree in a science‑related discipline.
• Commitment to high academic standards and student wellbeing.

Required skills

• Strong subject knowledge in science.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Effective classroom management techniques.
