About the role

Aspire People are partnering with a large Multi‑Academy Trust in Manchester to recruit a passionate and experienced Science Teacher. This full‑time, temporary role starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to work in a supportive school that values creativity, collaboration and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high‑quality science lessons.
• Take full responsibility for planning, marking and assessment.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management.
• Inspire students to develop a love of health and social care and achieve their best.
• Work collaboratively with staff across a well‑led and welcoming department.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 science topics.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Resilient, dedicated and adaptable approach to teaching.
• ECTs welcome to apply.
• DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for a new one).
• References covering the last two years.
