About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in East London. The role starts in September 2026 and offers a long‑term, full‑time position within a high‑performing Science department. You will work with motivated students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging, inquiry‑based lessons.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inspiring Science lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to collaborative planning within a strong Science faculty.
- Maintain and utilise modern, fully equipped laboratories safely.
- Participate in CPD and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
Required profile
- Qualified Science Teacher (QTS or QTLS required).
- Strong subject knowledge in Science, any specialism welcomed.
- Ability to inspire, stretch, and challenge learners.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Open to both experienced teachers and high‑quality early career teachers.
