Science Teacher – Secondary School (Key Stages 3‑5)

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑regarded secondary school in Hertfordshire to find an enthusiastic Science Teacher. You will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the chance to teach your specialist subject at Key Stage 5.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated Science lessons.
• Teach across Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Combined Science as required.
• Monitor, assess and report on student progress.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop the Science department.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Combined Science.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to raising student achievement and fostering a passion for science.
