Science Teacher – Secondary School (Liverpool)

About the role
We are partnering with an OFSTED ‘GOOD’ rated secondary school in Liverpool to recruit Science Teachers for the upcoming academic year. The role involves delivering engaging Biology, Chemistry or Physics lessons to students of all abilities, fostering a love of science and supporting them to achieve their best.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic, hands‑on science lessons that bring the curriculum to life.
- Plan, prepare and assess lesson content to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Maintain a positive, proactive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, teaching assistants and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
Required profile
- Relevant undergraduate degree in a science discipline.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Early‑Career Teachers are welcome.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Genuine passion for science education and willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Required skills
- Subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
