Science Teacher (Supply) – Kent

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic science teachers to join our supply roster across Kent starting this September. Whether you are newly qualified or have several years of classroom experience, you will be placed in supportive school environments where you can inspire the next generation of scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Prepare teaching resources, demonstrations and practical activities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
• Collaborate with school staff to support pupils’ learning needs.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent eligibility to teach in England.
• Willingness to work on a supply (temporary) basis across various schools in Kent.
• Flexibility to adapt to different school timetables and locations.
• Strong communication and classroom management abilities.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of the science curriculum for key stages 3‑5.
• Ability to explain scientific concepts clearly and engagingly.
• Proficiency in preparing practical experiments and demonstrations.
