About the role
Invicta Grammar School is seeking a Science Technician to support the Science Department. The role involves preparing lessons and ensuring all laboratory equipment is ready for experiments, working closely with teaching staff and fellow technicians.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare classroom and laboratory materials ahead of each lesson.
- Set up and maintain equipment for scientific experiments.
- Assist teachers with practical sessions and ensure safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with other technicians and the wider teaching team.
Required profile
- Organised, methodical and proactive.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.
Required skills
- Laboratory equipment preparation.
- Science experiment setup.
