Scrum Master (Contract, 5 months, £400-£450/day)

About the role

This contract role offers a high‑impact opportunity to join a rapidly scaling data function. You will bring structure, alignment and delivery rigour across multiple agile teams, enabling them to operate effectively while improving governance and communication in a complex, evolving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support sprint planning, stand‑ups and other agile ceremonies across several data enablement squads.
• Remove blockers and ensure alignment across distributed, cross‑functional teams.
• Drive improvements in governance, documentation and administrative processes.
• Coordinate and communicate updates effectively across teams and stakeholders.
• Manage and optimise Jira workflows and reporting for all squads.
• Support stakeholder engagement, including updates for internal forums and broader business communications.

Required profile

• Strong experience in delivery or agile environments within data teams.
• Proven ability to use Jira for workflow management, reporting and team coordination.
• Experience working across multiple teams in complex, cross‑functional or international settings.
• Demonstrated skill in improving governance, documentation and agile processes for scaling teams.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive, self‑sufficient and able to own delivery independently.
• Desirable: background in media, publishing, broadcasting or digital organisations; technical background in technology, data, product or engineering.
