Seasonal Collection & Delivery Driver – Manchester

About the role

Join our festive team this Christmas and become a crucial part of the delivery network during the busiest time of the year. We are looking for enthusiastic seasonal collection and delivery drivers to manage parcel collections and deliveries in the local area.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle safety and compliance checks.
• Collect and deliver parcels, including Christmas gifts, to residential and business addresses.
• Provide professional, friendly, and dependable service to enhance the festive spirit.
• Sort and organise parcels efficiently before routes.
• Use a handheld PDA device to follow planned routes.
• Safely lift, move, and deliver parcels weighing up to 30 kg.

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Experience or confidence in driving a 3.5 t van.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to safely lift and carry parcels up to 30 kg.
• Positive, reliable and self‑motivated approach, especially during the festive rush.

Required skills

• Utilise a handheld PDA device for route navigation.
• Operate a 3.5 t van safely.
