Seasonal Collection & Delivery Driver – Preston

About the role

Join the festive team for the Christmas season and help keep parcels moving across the local area. This temporary position offers an active, independent role delivering parcels and collections during the busiest time of the year.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle safety and compliance checks.
• Collect and deliver parcels, including seasonal gifts, to residential and business addresses.
• Provide friendly, professional service to enhance the festive spirit.
• Sort and organise parcels efficiently before each route.
• Use a handheld PDA device to follow planned routes.
• Safely lift and move parcels weighing up to 30 kg.

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Confidence or experience driving a 3.5 t van.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30 kg safely.
• Positive, reliable and self‑motivated attitude, especially during the festive rush.
