About the role

Join Dobbies for the festive season as a Seasonal Elf Performer, delivering Christmas magic to families visiting our grotto. You will greet visitors, help them meet Santa and ensure every moment feels like a scene from the North Pole.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome excited visitors in the grotto and guide them to meet Santa.
• Manage timings to minimise waiting and ensure a smooth experience.
• Entertain families at breakfast tables with games and festive fun.
• Assist at Santa Paws events, caring for pets and creating magical moments.
• Keep the grotto clean, tidy and fully stocked throughout the day.
• Issue photos to guests using the photo machines.
• Collaborate with the wider team and Santa to maintain a joyful atmosphere.

Required profile

• Cheerful, kind‑hearted and confident with strong festive enthusiasm.
• Excellent at connecting with people of all ages, from toddlers to grandparents.
• Team player comfortable in a fast‑paced customer‑service environment.
• Punctual, reliable and able to present a professional appearance.
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, childcare or performance is a plus.
