Secondary Business Studies Teacher – September Start in Warrington

About the role

Academics is seeking enthusiastic Secondary Business Studies Teachers for supply placements across Warrington schools starting in September. The role suits both qualified teachers and early‑career educators looking for flexible, short‑term or longer‑term assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Business Studies lessons for Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (GCSE, BTEC, A‑Level).
• Step into various Business and Enterprise departments to cover daily, short‑term absences or planned long‑term leaves.
• Monitor student progress, mark assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Studies, Economics, Finance or related field and UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ECT) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching the UK Business curriculum at secondary level.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Based in or able to commute to schools throughout Warrington.
