Secondary Cover Supervisor – Flexible Opportunities

About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Secondary Cover Supervisors to step into classrooms across Kent and Medway when teachers are absent. The role offers both immediate placements and positions that start at the beginning of the new academic year, providing flexible working patterns to suit your schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise whole‑class lessons during teacher absence.
- Deliver pre‑prepared work and keep pupils focused and motivated.
- Maintain a safe, positive and productive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and report any concerns to the school staff.
Required profile
- Experience working with young people in schools, coaching, youth clubs or similar settings.
- Recent graduates who wish to gain classroom experience are also welcome.
- Reliable, punctual and able to adapt quickly to different school settings.
Required skills
- Classroom management.
- Clear communication with students and staff.
- Ability to follow and implement pre‑set lesson plans.
