About the role
We are seeking a Secondary Cover Supervisor for an outstanding Ofsted‑graded secondary school in Westminster. The role is full‑time, permanent and offers a salary of £28,000 per year. The school is a large, mixed‑gender, multicultural secondary school with a strong senior leadership team and an innovative, forward‑thinking ethos.
Key responsibilities
- Cover absent teachers across KS3, KS4 or KS5.
- Deliver set or pre‑planned lessons.
- Manage behaviour effectively.
- Safeguard pupils effectively.
- Support Schools Direct / Assessment Only route.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum.
- Previous classroom experience.
- Passion for education and inspiring young minds.
- Understanding of the teaching standards.
