Secondary Early Career Teacher – Supply & Placement Opportunities

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to deliver high‑quality lessons in secondary schools across Cheshire and Staffordshire. This part‑time, temporary role offers flexible day‑to‑day supply placements, allowing you to gain experience in a variety of school environments before committing to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit different school settings and student needs.
• Develop classroom management and behaviour‑handling techniques.
• Collaborate with senior staff to support student progress.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) in any subject.
• Recent teaching experience gained during PGCE placements.
• Positive, adaptable attitude toward new environments.
• Confidence in managing behaviour and engaging learners.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
