Secondary General Cover Teacher – Flexible Daily Rates

About the role

Join a dynamic team of supply teachers delivering engaging lessons across KS3‑KS4 in Bracknell schools. This flexible position lets you choose daily, block or pre‑planned cover assignments, working on your own terms.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the class focused and on‑task throughout the lesson.
• Provide additional support to students who need extra help.
• Follow each school’s policies and promote a positive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to new classrooms and subject areas.
• Ensure safety, inclusivity and well‑being of all pupils.
• Give constructive feedback to school staff after each placement.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Recent classroom experience within the UK education system.
• Strong classroom management and clear communication abilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
