Secondary General Cover Teacher (Flexible Supply)

About the role
Reed is seeking enthusiastic secondary cover teachers to work on a flexible, daily‑supply basis in Maidenhead schools. You will be placed in KS3‑KS4 classrooms, delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment while adapting quickly to new settings.
Key responsibilities
- Engage pupils and keep them on task throughout the lesson.
- Provide additional support to students who need extra help.
- Follow each school’s policies and procedures, ensuring safety and inclusivity.
- Adapt lesson plans as required and give constructive feedback to school staff.
Required profile
- Hold UK QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Recent classroom experience in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Required skills
- Strong classroom management.
- Effective communication with pupils and staff.
