Secondary General Cover Teacher (Supply)

About the role
We are looking for flexible, supply teachers to cover secondary classes in Slough. The role offers a daily rate of £140‑£200 and the opportunity to work across KS3‑KS4, choosing the days and schools that suit you.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lessons and keep the class engaged and on task.
- Provide additional support to students who need extra help.
- Follow each school’s policies and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to new classrooms and timetables.
- Provide feedback to school staff on pupil progress and lesson delivery.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Recent experience teaching in a UK classroom.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
