Secondary Mathematics Supply Teacher – Chester

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic secondary mathematics teachers to provide supply cover in schools across Chester and the North Wales border. Whether you are an experienced teacher seeking better work‑life balance or an early‑career teacher wanting varied classroom experience, you can choose the days and locations that suit you.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging mathematics lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils using pre‑prepared lesson plans.
- Create a positive, safe and productive classroom environment.
- Follow each school’s policies and keep students on track with their work.
- Provide brief feedback to the permanent class teacher at the end of each placement.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in any subject.
- Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one with support).
- Genuine passion for supporting young learners.
