Secondary Maths Teacher – Milton Keynes

About the role

Reed Education is recruiting a passionate Maths Teacher for a secondary school in Milton Keynes, starting September 2026. This full‑time, long‑term supply position offers the chance to work in a supportive, forward‑thinking environment with strong leadership and a commitment to staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4 in line with the national curriculum.
• Plan, prepare and adapt high‑quality lesson materials.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress and attainment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold high teaching standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools.
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Passion for raising attainment and supporting student success.
• QTS advantageous but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
