About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Secondary School Cover Supervisor to join our team in Guildford. The role involves delivering lessons across various year groups and subjects during teacher absence, ensuring continuity of learning.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise classes across different subjects, ensuring pre‑set work is completed.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse student groups.
- Provide feedback on student performance and classroom issues to regular teaching staff.
- Assist with additional educational activities as required.
Required profile
- GCSEs at grade B or equivalent, including Maths and English.
- Degree in a relevant subject area.
- Strong interest in working with secondary‑aged students or pursuing a teaching career.
- Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
