Secondary School Daily Supply Teacher

About the role

Academics is seeking fully qualified secondary school teachers with QTS to join its daily supply roster in the Three Rivers area of Hertfordshire. The role offers flexible, day‑to‑day assignments where you teach classes without the need for lesson planning, preparation, or marking.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum content to secondary pupils on a day‑by‑day basis.
• Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behaviour effectively.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and timetables.
• Provide continuity of learning when regular teachers are absent.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and eligibility to work in the UK.
• Flexibility to accept short‑notice assignments.
• Strong classroom management and behavioural skills.
• Passion for teaching and working with secondary‑age students.
