Secondary SEN Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Secondary SEN Teacher to join an Ofsted‑rated Outstanding SEN school in Bromley. You will work with Key Stage 3‑4 pupils who have ASD and complex needs, delivering a highly adapted curriculum in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver personalised lessons using a differentiated secondary curriculum.
• Support students with ASD, communication difficulties and sensory needs.
• Collaborate closely with therapists, external professionals and teaching assistants.
• Create and maintain a structured, inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as required.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Lead the classroom support team and ensure effective teamwork.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience or strong understanding of supporting students with ASD and complex needs.
• Secondary school teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
