Secondary Supply Teacher – Flexible Daily Cover

About the role

Academics is looking for adaptable and engaging secondary supply teachers to provide daily, short‑term and long‑term cover across schools in Warrington. You will step into classrooms on short notice, delivering pre‑planned lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 while enjoying complete flexibility over your working days.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver prepared cover lessons across a range of subjects, with a focus on your specialist area when required.
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and enforce school policies.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and timetables.
• Ensure a positive and productive learning atmosphere for pupils.

Required profile

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desirable, but experienced unqualified teachers and cover supervisors are also welcome.
• Proven experience managing secondary classrooms and delivering set work.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to hit the ground running.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and ability to commute to schools in Warrington.
