About the role

Reed Education is seeking qualified secondary school teachers to work as supply staff across schools in Kent and Medway. The role offers flexible full‑time or part‑time assignments, allowing you to choose the days and locations that suit your lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the national curriculum to secondary pupils in a range of subjects.
• Prepare and mark lesson plans, assessments and homework.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a safe learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Collaborate with permanent staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent for secondary education.
• Experience teaching in secondary schools, preferably within the UK.
• Flexibility to work on short‑notice assignments across Kent and Medway.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
