Secondary Supply Teacher – Flexible School Cover

About the role
Academics is seeking qualified secondary supply teachers to provide short‑term, flexible cover across schools in Cheshire and Staffordshire. You will deliver pre‑planned lessons, keep students engaged and ensure continuity of learning during staff absences.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑set KS3 and KS4 lessons (KS5 opportunities may arise).
- Maintain student engagement and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Support the continuity of learning while regular teachers are absent.
- Follow school policies and health & safety procedures.
Required profile
- UK‑recognised teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS).
- Previous experience as a secondary supply teacher.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Flexible, adaptable and passionate about education.
- Residing in or willing to travel to Cheshire & Staffordshire.
