Secondary Supply Teacher – Flexible School Placements

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Secondary Supply Teachers to provide cover across a range of secondary schools in Staines and the surrounding area. This role offers the variety of supply work while allowing you to make a positive impact on student learning in different school environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons across various year groups and subjects.
• Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
• Adapt quickly to each school's policies, curriculum and timetables.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with permanent staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Passion for education and supporting student achievement.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
