About the role
We are seeking qualified secondary supply teachers to deliver lessons across a range of subjects and year groups in schools throughout Sefton. This flexible, short‑term role ensures continuity of learning when staff are absent, offering valuable classroom experience and a better work‑life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils.
- Maintain effective classroom behaviour and discipline.
- Support student engagement and learning throughout the school day.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and school leadership.
- Adapt quickly to the policies and environment of different secondary schools.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Professional, flexible attitude towards varied assignments.
