Secondary Supply Teacher & Year 7 Intervention Specialist

About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic secondary supply teachers who can also support Year 7 intervention programmes across schools in Kent and Medway. Whether you are an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher, you will be placed in a variety of secondary settings to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted support for younger learners.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons across a range of secondary subjects on a short‑notice basis.
- Implement Year 7 intervention strategies to improve pupil attainment and confidence.
- Adapt lesson plans quickly to suit the needs of each school and class.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson content, and pupil progress.
- Collaborate with permanent staff to ensure continuity of learning.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with the ability to teach multiple secondary subjects.
- Willingness to work on a flexible, temporary basis across different schools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils quickly.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.
